"Merger Celebration and Community Blessing"

Rev. Dr. Sofía Betancourt, President, Unitarian Universalist Association - This week we celebrate the historic merger of the First Parish Church of Stow and Acton and the Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson, who have voted to merge together to be the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in the Assabet Valley! The sermon will be given by our Unitarian Universalist Association President, Rev. Dr. Sofía Betancourt, and local dignitaries will bring greetings and blessings. A luncheon will follow the service.

"Samhain Circle: Descent Into the Underworld"

6 PM, Community Room and Vestry (no online service)

Cynthia Menard, SGCC Director - Explore your inner depths as we journey into the spirit realm to discover what death and rebirth hold for us this year. Visit with ancestors and guides, let go of what no longer feeds you, and make room for new growth. We will be outside for part of the ritual (weather permitting), and a warm layer is recommended. Doors open at 5:30 PM; ritual begins at 6 PM with instructions for the evening, so please be on time. A potluck feast in the Vestry follows the ritual; please bring a dish to share.
